GOSSIP // Maggie Smith Might Leave Downton Abbey

Rumor has it that some of our favorite Downton Abbey stars might not be signing on for Season Four of the critically acclaimed show. I know, we are upset to! Dame Maggie Smith (The Dowager Countess) and Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley) have not yet signed their contracts for season four unlike most of the other cast, sparking speculation that Dame Maggie might be retiring and that Dan Stevens may be wanting to use his new found fame to find other projects. Lady Sybil and Mrs. O’Brien are apparently undecided as well!
